Analog Fury: The Rise of the 2,000-HP Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution LF

The Texas-based hypercar manufacturer Hennessey Special Vehicles has just shattered the ceiling of internal combustion performance. On April 17, 2026, the company officially showcased the Venom F5 Revolution LF, a one-of-one masterpiece that represents the most extreme, analog, and “visceral” iteration of the F5 platform to date.

Commissioned through Hennessey’s new Maverick bespoke division, the “LF” (built for collector Louis Florey) is more than just a track toy it is a $3 million statement that the era of raw, driver-centric hypercars is far from over.

Breaking the 2,000-HP Barrier

While the “standard” Venom F5 utilizes the 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged “Fury” V8 to produce a staggering 1,817 hp, the Revolution LF pushes that envelope into uncharted territory.

  • The Evolution Package: Utilizing Hennessey’s newly finalized “Evolution” upgrade, the LF churns out a monumental 2,031 hp and 1,445 lb-ft of torque on E85 fuel.
  • The Manual Mandate: Most impressively, this 2,000+ hp output is managed by a six-speed gated manual transmission. This makes it the only F5 in existence to pair the track-spec “Revolution” aero with a stick-shift, creating what John Hennessey calls a car that is “not for the faint of heart.”
  • Weight-to-Power: With a dry weight of just 1,360 kg, the LF possesses a power-to-weight ratio that virtually outclasses every other production vehicle on the road today.

The Maverick Division & Bespoke Design

The LF serves as the flagship for the Maverick division, a high-touch program allowing owners to build completely unique commissions. The LF features:

  • Exposed Carbon Fiber: A “Stealth Series” finish that flows from the nose to the tail.
  • Aggressive Aero: A massive 290 mm-high rear wing and revised front splitter borrowed from the Revolution track variant.
  • Analog Luxury: An aluminum-milled gearshift and carbon fiber tub, maintaining air conditioning and leather upholstery despite its track-focused nature.

The Quest for 300 MPH

The Venom F5 remains at the heart of the “300 mph club” race. While the Revolution LF focuses on track-day engagement and lap times having already seen the F5 platform break the COTA production car record the ultimate goal for the Coupe remains the elusive V-max run.

Hennessey has confirmed that current F5 owners can now opt for the $235,000 Evolution upgrade kit, which brings their vehicles up to the 2,031 hp specification, signaling that the company is arming its customers for a new era of top-speed competition.
