The 67.5-metre Icon superyacht Loon, widely celebrated as a titan of the global charter industry, is officially available for purchase through Kevin Bonnie at IYC.

As the inaugural flagship from the renowned Dutch shipyard Icon Yachts, Loon (originally launched as Icon) has been meticulously maintained through a series of high-level upgrades. Most recently, she underwent a comprehensive technical and aesthetic refresh in 2025, following a major 2020 refit, positioning her as a premier turn-key opportunity in today’s market.
Design and Architectural Profile
Loon strikes a commanding profile on the water with her signature charcoal-grey hull and sharp white aluminum superstructure. Her exterior lines were originally penned by Redman Whiteley Dixon (now RWD), while the naval architecture was executed by Jouke van der Baan.
Spanning a significant volume of 1,295 GT, the interiors offer a masterclass in “noble simplicity.” Originally envisioned by Studio Linse, the living spaces have been further refined with sophisticated modern updates by the Bryan O’Sullivan Studio. The main saloon serves as the social heart of the vessel, boasting floor-to-ceiling windows and a flexible configuration that seamlessly transitions into a high-end private cinema.
Bespoke Accommodations
The yacht’s layout is designed to host up to 13 guests across seven refined staterooms. The standout feature is the dual-level master suite, which offers a level of privacy rarely seen in this size bracket. A private internal staircase connects the main bedroom to an upper-level observation lounge and office, providing the owner with 180-degree views and exclusive access to a forward sunbathing deck.
This upper lounge is versatile; it can be utilized as a private sanctuary or converted into an eighth VIP suite for larger groups.
Wellness and External Decks
Following a transformative five-metre hull extension in 2014, Loon now features one of the most comprehensive beach clubs in the fleet. This waterfront oasis includes:
- A high-spec gymnasium and professional massage room.
- A dry sauna and dedicated wellness area.
- A sea-level bar designed for effortless indoor-outdoor service.
The exterior decks are equally impressive, featuring a glass-bottom infinity pool on the main deck, a large bridge deck Jacuzzi, and multiple zones for alfresco dining and lounging.
Engineering and Performance
Engineered for long-range autonomy and stability, Loon is powered by a pair of MTU diesel engines. She achieves a top speed of 16 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 12.5 knots. With a remarkable 6,000-nautical-mile range and advanced zero-speed stabilizers, she is equally suited for remote ocean crossings or anchored luxury in the Mediterranean.
Loon represents a rare chance to own a Dutch-pedigree vessel with an unmatched reputation and a flawless maintenance record.
