It achieves 1000 nits of full-screen brightness for SDR and HDR content, with a peak HDR brightness of 1600 nits. This tandem architecture also contributes to a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, precise control over display color and luminance, and a 10x improvement in off-axis color accuracy compared to its predecessor. A new nano-texture display glass option is also available on 1TB and 2TB models, designed to reduce glare for professional workflows.
Performance with the M4 Chip: The new iPad Pro is powered by the M4 chip, built on second-generation 3-nanometer technology. The M4 features a new display engine, designed to enable the precision, brightness, and color accuracy of the Ultra Retina XDR display. Its new CPU includes up to four performance cores and six efficiency cores, providing up to 1.5x faster CPU performance than the M2 chip in the previous-generation iPad Pro.
