CREWE, ENGLAND (27 May 2026) – Bentley Motors has announced a significant expansion of its Mulliner personal commissioning portfolio, driven by an unprecedented surge in customer demand for bespoke personalization. Over 70 percent of Bentley buyers now incorporate Mulliner custom elements into their vehicles a testament to a growing desire to venture beyond standard color and finish options into the realm of true coachbuilt individuality.

In response, the 2026 Mulliner Personal Commissioning Guide introduces a sophisticated suite of new exterior paints, innovative material finishes, and advanced technical details designed to inspire the next generation of custom creations.
Expanded Ombré Finishes and Coordinated Interiors
Following its highly acclaimed debut at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering in 2025, Bentley’s innovative Ombré exterior paint finish is doubling its offerings. This meticulous, multi-tone paint process requires two specialized Mulliner technicians 56 hours to achieve a perfectly seamless gradient between two complementary colors.

- The Original Palette: Topaz Blue into Windsor Blue, Sunburst Gold into Orange Flame, and Tungsten into Onyx.
- New 2026 Additions: Alpine Green into Verdant, Cricketball into Black Velvet, Pale Brodgar into Brodgar, Portofino into Marlin, and Grey Violet into Damson.
To complement these exterior visual journeys, clients can now select matching interior Piano veneers. This creates an uninterrupted transition of cascading color flowing elegantly from the front fascia directly into the door waistrails.
Performance-Inspired Dual Racing Stripes
For drivers seeking a more dynamic, track-inspired aesthetic, Mulliner has introduced a new dual racing stripe option tailored for Bentley’s performance-focused models including Speed variants, the limited-edition Supersports, and the Continental GT S and GTC S.

The design consists of a broad central stripe flanked by two contrasting, thinner accent lines. The graphic runs seamlessly from the iconic Bentley wings on the bonnet, across the roof, and finishes elegantly at the rear spoiler (available on the Continental GT, Bentayga, and GT Convertible, with roof application excluded on the convertible variant).
Next-Level Craftsmanship and Technical Finishes
Mulliner’s cabin options continue to redefine modern luxury with pioneering material applications and high-tech personalization:

- The ‘Wave’ Technical Metal Finish: Available for the center consoles of the Continental GT and GTC, this striking finish features a repeating, intertwined ribbon motif that serves as a highly tactile and visual focal point.
- Laser-Etched Veneers: Clients can now have their own custom motifs or original artwork laser-etched directly onto the cabin fascia. This precision process preserves the smooth, touch-sensitive surface and natural finish of the material. The option is available across all open-pore wood, high-gloss, satin carbon fiber, and technical finishes.
- Animated Welcome Lamps: Two new Mulliner welcome lamp animations debut for 2026, complementing the brand’s existing bespoke fixed illumination options.
Curated Inspiration
To help clients navigate the vast array of choices, the Mulliner design team has crafted a series of curated specifications for every model in the lineup. These designer suggestions showcase the endless potential of the 2026 portfolio. Utilizing these inspirations as a baseline, customers can collaborate directly with a Mulliner Consultant or Bentley Retail Specialist to bring their definitive automotive vision to life.
