From the Podium to the Gallery: Lando Norris Joins Madame Tussauds’ Sporting Icons

Whether he’s dodging champagne sprays on the podium or navigating the “Paperclip” at Silverstone, Lando Norris is used to being the center of attention. But this summer, the reigning World Champion is taking on a new challenge: standing perfectly still.

Madame Tussauds London has officially confirmed that the McLaren star will be immortalized in wax, debuting his first-ever figure in the iconic museum’s “Culture Capital” zone.

From the Grid to the Gallery

It’s been a whirlwind few years for the Brit. Since his F1 debut in 2019, Norris has racked up 11 race wins and, most notably, secured his maiden World Championship title in 2025. Now, he joins the ranks of sporting legends like Cristiano Ronaldo and fellow F1 icon Lewis Hamilton at the London attraction.

Reflecting on the news, Lando admitted the experience is a bit “surreal”.

“It’s such a big honour,” Norris shared. “Working with the artists has been awesome, and seeing all the detail they’ve put into the figure is really impressive. I can’t wait for fans to come and see the finished figure in London this summer.”

Precision at “Full Throttle”

Creating a World Champion isn’t a quick pit stop. The Madame Tussauds studio team has been working closely with Norris to capture every measurement and minute detail to ensure the likeness is “podium-ready”.

Steve Blackburn, General Manager at Madame Tussauds London, praised the driver’s patience during the intricate sitting process. “He’s been fantastic throughout… sitting still and not racing around as usual!” Blackburn joked. He noted that Norris is at the “forefront of modern sport and culture,” making him a must-have addition for fans worldwide.

Where to Find Him

When the figure officially launches this summer, fans can find Lando hanging out with the greats, including Mo Salah, Anthony Joshua, and Kylian Mbappe.
