The launch of Bianca II marks a historic turning point for Cantiere del Pardo, as the 26.2-meter sailing yacht officially claims her title as the flagship of the Grand Soleil fleet. Recently debuted at the shipyard’s Fano facility in Italy, this first Grand Soleil Plus 80 Long Cruise represents a masterful intersection of Italian artisanal heritage and high-tier competitive performance.

A Masterclass in Naval Architecture
Designed to meet the exacting standards of a global clientele, Bianca II is the result of a prestigious collaboration. Her naval architecture was spearheaded by Matteo Polli Yacht Design, while the renowned studio Nauta breathed life into both her exterior lines and interior soul.

The yacht’s engineering is as versatile as it is ambitious. To cater to diverse cruising desires, she features a sophisticated telescopic keel. This allows the draught to be adjusted from a deep 4.8 meters for stability to a mere 2.8 meters, granting the owner access to the world’s most secluded shallow bays and intimate Mediterranean harbors. For those prioritizing a more spirited, racing-inspired experience, a “Performance” variant with a fixed keel is also available.
Life Above and Below Deck
The exterior of Bianca II is an invitation to the sea. A sprawling cockpit serves as the social heart of the vessel, offering multiple dining and lounging configurations. At the aft, inviting sunpads provide a sanctuary for relaxation, while twin outboard helm stations ensure the captain maintains panoramic visibility and precise control.
Inside, the aesthetic is one of contemporary serenity. The central saloon is bathed in natural light, courtesy of wraparound glazing and expansive coachroof skylights. A refined palette of cream and natural wood tones, accented by bespoke oak furnishings, creates a warm yet minimalist atmosphere.

The layout is thoughtfully structured for privacy and comfort:
- Master Suite: Positioned forward, featuring a walk-around double bed.
- Guest Accommodations: Three sophisticated double or twin staterooms.
- Crew Quarters: Two dedicated cabins located aft with direct cockpit access, ensuring seamless service without infringing on guest privacy.
Performance and the Path to Porto Cervo
Beyond her elegance, Bianca II is built for the wind. Equipped with a carbon rig and a V-boom, she is designed to deploy an extensive sail wardrobe, including Code Zero and furling gennakers. When the winds calm, a reliable Yanmar engine provides the necessary power.
“The launch of this first GS Plus 80 LC is a defining moment for Grand Soleil,” noted Marcello Veronesi, CEO of Cantiere del Pardo. “It embodies the next generation of our line and the handcrafted excellence that our shipyard is known for.”
Bianca II will now undergo final outfitting and rigorous sea trials. Her grand debut is scheduled for the 2026 Grand Soleil Cup in the turquoise waters of Porto Cervo, Sardinia. Meanwhile, the shipyard is already hard at work on the second hull of the series, which is slated for delivery in late 2026.
