Ferrari has officially pulled the wraps off the Amalfi Spider, a sophisticated 2+ convertible that redefines the brand’s performance-driven lifestyle segment. Featuring a front-mid-mounted twin-turbo V8, the Amalfi Spider strikes a masterful balance between raw Scuderia DNA and the refined elegance required for daily grand touring.
Designed to succeed the Roma Spider, the Amalfi Spider introduces a contemporary aesthetic inspired by the light and hues of the Italian coast, making every journey an evocative experience.
Design: Elegance in Motion
Crafted by the Ferrari Design Studio under Flavio Manzoni, the Amalfi Spider maintains the flowing silhouette of its coupé counterpart while introducing a bespoke fabric soft top.

- The Soft Top: Engineered with a five-layer acoustic fabric, the roof offers sound insulation on par with a retractable hardtop. It deploys in just 13.5 seconds at speeds up to 60 km/h.
- Visual Continuity: For the first time, technical fabrics—including the new Tecnico Ottanio—can extend over the tonneau cover, creating a seamless material transition between the exterior and the cockpit.
- Rosso Tramonto: Launching alongside the car is a new exterior shade, Rosso Tramonto (Sunset Red), featuring orange undertones that capture the glow of the Amalfi Coast at dusk.
Interior & Technology
The “Dual-Cockpit” philosophy creates symmetrical safety cells for both driver and passenger, while a process of “aesthetic subtraction” ensures a clean, minimalist environment.
- Human-Machine Interface (HMI): The steering wheel returns to tactile physical buttons for superior ergonomics. The cockpit features a massive 15.6″ digital instrument cluster, a 10.25″ central touchscreen, and a dedicated 8.8″ passenger display.
- Open-Air Comfort: A patented wind deflector is integrated into the rear seat backrest. Activated via a button, it rotates $101^\circ$ to create a “bubble” of calm air, significantly reducing cabin turbulence at high speeds.
Powertrain: Award-Winning Performance
The heart of the Amalfi Spider is the latest evolution of the 3.9L V8 twin-turbo engine.
| Feature | Specification |
| Max Power | 640 hp @ 7,500 rpm |
| Max Torque | 760 Nm @ 3,000 rpm |
| 0–100 km/h | 3.3 Seconds |
| Top Speed | >320 km/h |
New lightweight camshafts and a redesigned engine block reduce mass, while an advanced turbo management system allows the turbines to spin up to 171,000 rpm for near-instantaneous throttle response. This power is managed by the lightning-fast 8-speed dual-clutch transmission derived from the SF90 Stradale.
Dynamics and Control
The Amalfi Spider introduces cutting-edge chassis electronics to ensure the car is as approachable as it is fast:
- Brake-by-Wire & ABS Evo: The braking system uses a 6D sensor to estimate vehicle speed and tire grip more accurately, reducing pedal travel and improving stability during “straight-line” emergency stops.
- Side Slip Control (SSC) 6.1: This system acts as the “brain,” coordinating the E-Diff, F1-Trac, and SCM-E dampers.
- Five-Position Manettino: Drivers can toggle through Wet, Comfort, Sport, Race, and ESC-Off modes, with the 2026 calibrations offering a more progressive transition between “daily” and “track” personalities.

Ownership & Maintenance
To ensure long-term peace of mind, the Amalfi Spider includes Ferrari’s Genuine Maintenance programme. This covers all regular scheduled maintenance for the first seven years, performed by Maranello-trained technicians using factory diagnostic tools.
