Sensory Landscapes: Bentley Home Redefines Quiet Luxury at Milan Design Week 2026

(Crewe, 21 April 2026) – Bentley Home has unveiled its 2026 collection at Milan Design Week, pivoting away from high-gloss spectacle toward a “sensory landscape” rooted in sustainable materiality and architectural softness. Presented at its historic Milan atelier, the new range, comprising sofas, armchairs, tables, and multifunctional trunks, signals a significant evolution in the brand’s aesthetic, prioritizing tactile longevity over traditional statement design.

The Material Evolution

The 2026 collection is anchored by a sophisticated shift in finishing techniques designed to lower environmental impact. By pairing natural resins with hand-brushed shellac lacquers, Bentley Home has achieved a depth of surface that interacts dynamically with light without relying on heavy synthetic coatings.

The textile palette further emphasizes this organic transition, utilizing locally sourced natural fibers:

  • Wools and Alpacas: For heat regulation and structural softness.
  • Linen and Cotton: To provide a breathable, crisp hand-feel.
  • Mohair Velvet Jacquards: Adding a layer of understated opulence.

“For us, sustainability and endurance are inseparable,” says Ben Saltmer, Head of Lifestyle Design at Bentley Motors. “This collection pushes materials to perform beautifully while becoming more compelling as they age.”

Collection Highlights: Fluidity and Form

In collaboration with designers Carlo Colombo and Federico Peri, the new pieces balance Bentley’s automotive precision with a newfound domestic “softness.”

  • The Embrace Sofa & Armchair: A reimagining of the Ramsey lineage. By utilizing a fully leather-upholstered outer shell, the design moves away from the visual weight of wood veneers, creating a seamless, enveloping silhouette.
  • The Continuum Chair: An exercise in transparency. The open frame reduces mass, allowing light to flow through the piece while subtly nodding to aerodynamic automotive cues.
  • The Brimham Ottoman: Inspired by natural rock formations, this piece features a distinctive leather “saddle” element, blending organic shapes with functional durability.
  • The Porter Trunk: A contemporary nod to Bentley’s travel heritage, reinterpreted as a multifunctional storage centerpiece for the modern home.

A Global Vision of Comfort

Monique Zappala, Creative Director at Luxury Living Group, notes that the collection responds to a global shift toward “material authenticity.” This vision is supported by Bentley Home’s massive international footprint, now spanning over 60 stores worldwide, including major flagships in Milan, Riyadh, Dubai, and Shanghai.

The 2026 launch reinforces that luxury in the home is no longer about the loudest piece in the room it is about the most tactile, the most sustainable, and the most enduring.
