The Bentley EXP 15 is a design vision concept unveiled by Bentley Motors in 2025. It serves as a spiritual and stylistic bridge between Bentley’s storied past, specifically the “Blue Train” era of the 1930s and its commitment to a fully electrified luxury future starting in 2026.

Unlike the performance-oriented EXP 10 Speed 6 (coupe) and the open-top EXP 12 Speed 6e that preceded it, the EXP 15 is an elevated sporting sedan designed to showcase how grand touring translates to the age of the Electric Vehicle (EV).
1. Heritage Reimagined: The “Blue Train” Influence
The EXP 15 takes direct inspiration from the legendary 1930 Bentley Speed Six, famously nicknamed the “Blue Train” after racer Woolf Barnato beat the Le Train Bleu from Cannes to London.

- Proportions: The concept features a signature “endless” long bonnet and a rearward cabin, mimicking the silhouette of pre-war grand tourers.
- The Grille: It reimagines the iconic upright Bentley matrix grille using modern light technology rather than traditional mesh, allowing the car to “communicate” through light patterns.
- Muscular Stance: The design is defined by powerful rear haunches and a low, athletic stance that suggests high-speed potential even while stationary.
2. The Innovative Three-Seater Layout
One of the most striking features of the EXP 15 is its flexible 1-plus-2 seating arrangement. Moving away from the traditional 2+2 or 5-seater configurations, this layout prioritizes the “luxury of space.”

- Passenger Relaxation: The offset seating allows for a more open cabin feel, providing the rear passenger with expansive legroom and a panoramic view.
- Lifestyle Integration: The interior includes accessible storage for bespoke hand luggage or even pets, catering to the modern “grand tourer” lifestyle.
- Tailgate Seating: Similar to the Bentley Bentayga’s “Event Specification,” the EXP 15 features integrated seating at the tailgate, designed for outdoor socializing.
3. Technology and Craftsmanship
The interior of the EXP 15 is a laboratory for “Digital Craftsmanship,” blending tactile physical switches with fluid digital interfaces.
| Feature | Description |
| Material Fusion | Collaboration with British suppliers to use classic luxury fabrics (wool, tweed) alongside traditional leather and wood. |
| Interchangeable UI | Digital displays that can be “hidden” or modified based on the driver’s mood, emphasizing a “detox” environment. |
| New Winged B | A redesigned emblem that pays homage to the 1919 original while utilizing sustainable, modern materials. |
| Diamond Quilt 2.0 | The classic quilting pattern is reimagined using 3D-printing and new stitching techniques for both the seats and exterior accents. |
4. The Path to 2026
While the EXP 15 is a full-size design model and virtual reality study rather than a production car, its DNA is critical to Bentley’s Beyond100 strategy.
It provides the clearest clues yet for Bentley’s first production battery-electric vehicle (BEV), scheduled for reveal in late 2026. The EXP 15 signals that Bentley’s electric era will not just be about silent speed, but about a “monolithic” design language that values simplicity, precision, and the preservation of British coachbuilding heritage.
Note: As a “Design Vision,” the EXP 15 does not have official performance specs like 0-60 mph times, as it is intended to showcase the aesthetic and atmospheric direction of the brand’s future EV lineup.
